We are located at Silver Spring United Methodist Church – 8900 Georgia Ave. The workspace is in the old church library. We are able to take donations, and meet with you for computer repairs – but by appointment only. Fill out the Contact Us form to start the process.
Mac Recycle Clinic’s entrance is at the side of SSUMC near the playground (note – if they fence is up, you’ll need to park in the main lot and call us to come get you).

NOTE: The Spring Knolls daycare center now closes off the parking lot near the playground with a fence. As a result – please park in the MAIN church parking lot, call our main MRC number (301-593-4004) and we will come get you.
** You can still get to our church entrance by turning into the (sharp) driveway JUST BEFORE the church. You will see signs leading up to the entrance to our workspace. There is a doorbell there or you can call us.
From the I-495 Beltway, take Exit 31 – Georgia Ave (MD-97), south toward Silver Spring. The church is 1 mile south on the right. Access is via First Street. Turn right onto Ballard St. then right on First St. Drive past the home on church property and turn into the lot just past the house. Drive straight through the smaller lot (headed towards Georgia Ave.), past the playground and park near the landscape trucks. Signs will guide you to our entry door.
From Washington, D.C., take Georgia Ave north, through downtown Silver Spring. The church is half a mile north of the intersection between Colesville Rd. (MD-29) and Georgia Ave. Access is via First Street. Turn left onto Ballard St. then right on First St. Drive past the home on church property and turn into the lot just past the house. Drive straight through the smaller lot (headed towards Georgia Ave.), past the playground and park near the landscape trucks. Signs will guide you to our entry door.
From the Metro: Take the red line to Silver Spring station. Use the north exit to exit the station. Walk north along Colesville Rd., toward the AFI Movie Theater and the tall Discovery Channel building (though they will be on the other side of Colesville Rd.). When you reach Georgia Ave, turn left and walk north along Georgia (there will be trees in the median of the road) 0.5 miles until you reach the church on the left. MRC is around the back of the church – the entry is beyond the playground. You will see landscape trucks and a walkway to our door. Watch for signs to guide you.
Free Parking
Please use the parking lot at the far end of the church (see directions) that is near the daycare playground. Note the signs that indicate some slots are taken – used by the health center across the street. Our entryway is at the far end of the church beyond that playground.
